Job Title: Assembler/Material Handler
Pay Rate: $20 to $24/HR
Duration: 2.4 months
Location: Schiller Park, IL
Shift: 9 am to 5 pm

Job Description:

• Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices maintains records of received goods, and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Read mechanical drawings and assemble components per drawing
• Inspect pre-built assemblies per drawing
• Repair tool kit assemblies and components as required
• Lifts heavy items and may operate various material handling devices (i.e. forklift).
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Familiarity with barcoding and automation tools is desired.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Mechanical aptitude
• Working knowledge of hand tools and test equipment such as multimeters
• Forklift operation experience (preferred)

Typical Education and Experience:

• Associate degree or equivalent 2 - 5 years of related experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
